Payments:

Once your deposit is received your booking is deemed confirmed. Please note that all payments as listed on the Invoice must be received by the due date or the booking will be deemed canceled. Please include your full name and quote/invoice number on all online banking payments. 

Cancellations:

Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to the commencement of the rental will forfeit 100% of all funds paid.

Arrivals and Departures:

Masque Lagos will be available for your arrival as per your confirmation quote/invoice. Your departure must occur by the date and time given or a further nights’ accommodation tariff will be charged. The standard arrival time is 10:00 am and departure of 06:00 pm for day use and arrival time of 12:00 pm and departure of 10:00 am for overnight stay unless confirmed with the property Manager.

Responsibility:

Masque Lagos accepts NO LIABILITY for injury or loss to guests or belongings.

Numbers of Occupants:

The guests occupying the beach house are, under no circumstances, to exceed the guests on the confirmation quote/invoice unless prior arrangements are made with Masque Lagos. Should this occur, we reserve the right to deny entry into the property and/or end the tenancy without notice or refund if this isn’t the case.

The Guests:

The guest named on the quote/invoice and these Terms and Conditions is responsible for the beach house during their stay. The guests must take due care of the property during their stay and leave it as it was when they arrived. We rent out to families or groups as approved by the Property Manager only. We reserve the right to end tenancy without notice or refund if this isn’t the case.

Refundable deposit:

This is to be paid over in the form of cash, direct credit or held credit card details. If transferring the deposit by direct credit, please advise by email and include your bank account details for the transfer back of due monies. The deposit will be held by Masque Lagos until the property has had its departure service completed. If everything is found to be in order the deposit will be refunded in full within 3 to 5 business days. In the event of any damages observed during the facility inspection, Masque Lagos will refund the guest's deposit after deducting the balance, which is determined by the estimated repair costs assessed during the inspection following the guest's check-out.

Breakages and Damage:

All missing goods, damage, or breakages to the property (including windows and artwork) are to be reported to Masque Lagos immediately. The guest is responsible for the cost to repair or replace any damage or breakages. 

Insurance:

The guest will ensure that neither they nor any other person staying at the property do anything to invalidate or adversely affect the validity of the Masque Lagos insurance.

Liability:

Masque Lagos accepts no responsibility for occurrences beyond its control such as damage caused by exceptional weather conditions; power outages; breakdown of appliances; wiring and plumbing faults including water pump and water supply; invasion of pests etc. However, should the property be rendered uninhabitable or unavailable the guest will be entitled to a pro rata refund. All breakdowns that can be made right will be acted on immediately by Masque Lagos in order that the booking can continue.

Towels:

Our beach house is self-contained – all you need to supply is your towels and swimsuits. Towel hire is available if required.  

Sundry Accommodation:

Tents, Caravans and animals are NOT allowed – unless by prior arrangement and permission from Masque Lagos. 

Smoking/Vaping:

No smoking or vaping inside the property – NO exceptions. If smoking outside, please dispose of cigarette butts thoughtfully as they are a fire hazard. If property is left with any smell due to smoking/vaping a 1- day/night cost will be charged.

Furniture:

All internal furniture must remain inside the house.

Functions and Parties:

Masque Lagos reserves the right to end tenancy without notice or refund if the tenants cause or threaten to cause damage to the property or if complaints are received by the Police. The properties we manage are to be used purely for holiday accommodation only. No types of functions (including weddings, pre or post wedding functions, 21st, Hens / stag nights etc) are to be held at the property without prior written approval. Unapproved functions will result in the tenancy being canceled without notice or refund.

Animals:

If the Property Manager has advised that an animal is allowed at the house, this will be confirmed on your invoice. Animals are not allowed on any furniture and cleaned up both inside and out before departure. Otherwise, NO animals are allowed to stay, visit, or enter the property at any time.

UPON DEPOSIT / FULL PAYMENT MADE FOR YOUR BOOKING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE DEEMED APPROVED AND ACCEPTED BY THE GUESTS.
